Before registering

Confirm all five requirements.

Every student is enrolled in Grade 9, 10, 11, or 12.
Every student lives in or attends school in Ontario.
The team has two to four students.
One adult has agreed to serve as team advisor.
The team can participate online on November 15.

What to send

One message with limited information.

Team name
Each student's first name and grade
School name or Ontario municipality
Advisor's name, role, and email address
Accessibility or communication request, if applicable

Do not send birth dates, student numbers, home addresses, identification documents, medical records, or payment information.

Registration steps

Choose one person to send the team message.

Complete every listed field and send the message by November 1 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Navio checks team size, grade, Ontario connection, advisor information, and event availability.
The advisor receives confirmation or a specific correction request within three business days.

What confirmation means

A confirmation email reserves the team's place, identifies the adult advisor as the official contact, and provides the online event access process. The case is released to confirmed teams on November 9 at 5:00 p.m. ET. A message sent to Navio is not a completed registration until the team receives confirmation.

Changes and withdrawal

The advisor may request a student-name correction, team-member change, accessibility arrangement, or withdrawal by emailing the same inbox. Team changes must continue to satisfy eligibility and team-size rules. Notify Navio promptly if the team cannot attend so event scheduling remains accurate.

Privacy and youth safety

Navio uses registration information to verify eligibility, administer the event, communicate with the advisor, provide accessibility support, and document the competition. Official communication involving students uses the advisor or another appropriate adult. Read the privacy notice and youth-safety approach before sending information.
