NPCC is Navio Pathways' annual online case competition for Ontario secondary students. The 2026 competition takes place Sunday, November 15, 2026.

Purpose
NPCC gives students a defined challenge, a deadline, and a common evaluation standard. The competition rewards careful problem definition, relevant evidence, feasible action, responsible tradeoffs, and clear explanation rather than a single predetermined answer.
The 2026 case concerns a fictional organization responding to a youth, education, career, leadership, or community-access problem. A fictional case lets every team work from the same information without contacting real clients or handling confidential records.
Participant outcome
NPCC does not provide school credit, volunteer hours, employment, admission, or a cash prize.
Team registration
Each team registers two to four Ontario students in Grades 9–12 and one adult advisor. The advisor may be a teacher, guidance counsellor, youth worker, parent, or guardian. The advisor receives official event communication and supports attendance and youth-safety requirements.
Action: submit the team name, student first names and grades, school or municipality, and advisor contact details.

Confirmed teams receive the case by email. The package defines the organization, decision, constraints, stakeholders, and evidence available to every participant. Teams may research general public context, but the recommendation must respond to the facts and limits in the supplied case.
Output: one clearly stated problem, decision criteria, and an agreed team work plan.
Analysis and recommendation
Teams identify who is affected, what success means, and which constraints cannot be ignored. They develop at least two reasonable options, compare strengths and risks, then select one recommendation with responsibilities, timing, and measures of progress.
Output: a maximum seven-slide deck, including sources and any required technology-use disclosure.

Teams check in through the event link supplied to their advisor, submit the final deck, and present during an assigned slot. A review panel uses the published rubric. Questions test whether the team understands its evidence, tradeoffs, implementation plan, and risks.
Output: a final presentation, judge questions, and written evaluation.

Registration workflow
The team or advisor opens the registration page, emails the required information to Navio's public organization inbox, and receives a confirmation or a specific correction request within three business days. No payment or external account is required.
