Navio NEXT

A business career conference built around real conversation.

NNetworkingEExplorationXeXposureTTransformation

Navio NEXT is Navio Pathways’ annual conference. It is a free, in-person career exploration event for Ontario secondary students and other high-school-aged youth. The 2026 conference will take place in Mississauga, Ontario, on November 21 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The venue is to be announced.

NEXT is for students who are curious about business but want more than a list of job titles. Participants can hear from professionals, professors, and university students, ask specific questions, and compare the realities of working and studying in different fields. The goal is not to push one route; it is to give students more context for the choices ahead.

Conference experience

Five ways to explore the room.

The day mixes shared sessions with direct conversation, so students can listen, ask, compare, and participate.

  1. Panels

    Hear several paths at once

Professionals and educators will discuss how business careers differ, what their work involves, and which experiences shaped their direction.

  2. Q&A

Ask the question you actually have

Question-and-answer sessions will give students space to ask about education, skills, responsibilities, opportunities, and the less-visible realities of a field.

  3. Meet

Turn a large room into a useful conversation

Networking periods will help students speak directly with professionals, professors, university students, and peers who share an interest in business.

  4. Work

    Participate, not only observe

Workshops will give students a structured way to think through career questions, communicate ideas, and connect discussion to practical next steps.

  5. Learn

    Compare university information

Students can learn how programs, campus experiences, and routes into business may differ, then use those details to guide further research.
